Minimum Qualifications:

SC certification as a School Psychologist Level II or ability to obtain certification and a strong GPA in relevant coursework
Experience as a school psychologist preferred
Skill in evaluating, planning and implementing services for students needing assistance
Experience with placement hearings, manifestation meetings, determining  eligibility and identification status of students

Outstanding organizational skills and experience in maintenance of case records
Supporter and advocate of the inclusion model for students
Knowledge of instruction and innovative teaching methods
Experience dealing with community health and social welfare agencies preferred
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Skill in providing/assisting with inservice training of school personnel related to special education
Skill in interpersonal relations with pupils, parents, teachers, staff and the general public
Outstanding references from current and former supervisors
Satisfactory SLED (SC Law Enforcement Division) report

 

Salary Range:        ESE Support Services Salary Scale

 

Length of Contract:  210 days (to include summer workdays)

 

Starting Date:     2024 - 2025 School Year
