Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

Ability to perform manual work requiring some physical strength and agility

Ability to perform duties with awareness of all requirements and Board of Education policies

Skill in interpersonal relations with pupils, teachers, staff and the general public

Outstanding references from current and former supervisors

Satisfactory SLED (SC Law Enforcement Division) report

 

Salary Range:   Maintenance Salary Schedule B-Crew 3

 

Length of Contract:  200 days/8 hours per day (Flexible Summer days)

 

Starting Date:   As soon as position is filled

 

College transcripts, three references, and a copy of appropriate credentials should also be submitted during the application process.

 

Prior to employment, the District will request a criminal record history check for past action of crimes.  For this reason, information about date of birth, gender, and race is requested as a part of the application process.
