General Definition of Work

The Accountant II, under general supervision, performs highly complex work with moderate decision-making discretion overseeing the preparation of financial reports to track the organizations assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.  This position oversees compliance monitoring, system management, and internal controls.  Employee performs accounting work to carry out Board of Education policies and procedures related to finance under the direction of the Accounting Manager.
